How we protect your data
Controls at every layer.
System access
Only authenticated users with valid login credentials can configure a system in Sentinel OS. Stored passwords are salted and hashed. Administrators create users with different permission levels, so an end client can be granted access to images from selected cameras without the ability to change any system settings.
Encryption in transit and at rest
Images are encrypted in transit over HTTPS, from the camera on site to our platform, and from our platform to your device. At rest, your content is encrypted with AES-256 across both of our storage providers, and account credentials carry an additional layer of application-level encryption. Storage runs on top-tier industrial cloud providers with world-leading cyber and physical security standards.
Controlled image access
By default, images are available only to authenticated users over HTTPS. When you choose to share an image, we generate a unique, time-limited signed link: it works for a short period, gives access to that single image only, and opening it does not grant any lasting access.
