Rebuilding Anandaban Hospital, live: every 10 minutes.
The April 2015 Nepal earthquake damaged Anandaban Hospital, a critical facility for leprosy patients and the wider community. The Leprosy Mission Nepal needed a way to show global supporters that their donations were making a visible difference. PhotoSentinel captured and published progress every 10 minutes throughout the reconstruction.

Setup
A PhotoSentinel unit was installed on site with the live view accessible via a public gallery, allowing donors around the world to watch the rebuild in real time. Equipment was sponsored by C.R. Kennedy.
Operation
The live camera gallery ran throughout reconstruction, building trust with the 1.6 million US dollars in donor support that funded the three-year earthquake response plan. The continuous record documented both the physical rebuild and the mission's ongoing commitment to the community.
βOur staff continue to put in an amazing effort, despite many having suffered damage to their own homes. The global generosity shown to Nepal at this difficult time is deeply appreciated by all those in need.β
