A 1930s stadium reborn, on time for kickoff.
Firestone Park in Columbiana, Ohio carried generations of Friday night football, but its bleachers dated to the 1930s and were showing their age. For Jim Santini Builders, the project was part renovation, part rescue mission, carrying a $1.4 million first-phase budget funded by community donations and a hard deadline: the first game of the season.

Setup
The stadium's remote location made frequent site visits impractical, and the concrete work demanded precision on every pour. Santini turned to Buildcam for a constant presence on the field. Checking the 10-minute interval footage several times a day, he tracked progress, caught potential issues early, and kept subcontractors accountable to the schedule.
Operation
The footage became a storytelling device as much as a management tool, drawing the community closer to the project and supporting fundraising. As the final touches went in, the stadium had been transformed: new seating for 980 spectators, chair-back seats through the center, and an upgraded press box, ready for the roar to return.
