Two angles. Zero site visits. The second-busiest port in the USA.
Photographer Alex Hallajian of XLA Studios needed a system that could house a camera at the Port of Long Beach indefinitely (surviving weather, dust, and continuous outdoor exposure) while delivering remote access and client-facing gallery features. PhotoSentinel handled the housing, the connectivity, and the platform.

Setup
Two PhotoSentinel units were positioned at separate vantage points across the port to capture both container terminal activity and shipping lane movement simultaneously. Remote access and Dropbox auto-upload eliminated the need for any on-site visits.
Operation
The Port of Long Beach project ran continuously with zero on-site interventions. Alex used the platform's features to stretch the creative possibilities of long-term timelapse: producing both uncut raw footage and an edited final timelapse for the port.
βphotoSentinel solves the problem of housing a camera indefinitely and then goes further to deliver additional features which give me the ability to endlessly stretch my creativity.β
